Rebecca Lynn is the Co-Founder and Production Manager of Sissy design. She has a background in editing, writing, and production of independent print media. She is the Co-Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of internationally acclaimed $pread Magazine. $pread won the Utne award for Best New Title of 2005 and has received attention from outlets including the New York Times and the BBC. Rebecca also has a history as a political activist for causes such as sex workers’ rights, forest preservation, LGBT issues, immigrants’ rights, and animal rights. Originally from Texas, Rebecca has studied at the University of Havana and the University of Amsterdam and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a concentration in Communications in 2003. She now resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her partner, Kal, and their two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies, Posey and Poinsettia. She also happens to be the previous owner of the late Sissy, the poodle for whom this company was named (r.i.p.).
